I hate it when people who click “Not Attending” on my invites… Bad social proof. That’s why I always say I’m attending, unless I don’t like you… Clicking “Not Attending” is cold blooded to do to someone you like. “Maybe Attending” is not great for social proof either. It’s also totally rude to write on the invite, “I’m sorry, but I’m not attending.” That DESTROYS social proof and morale for the event, especially if there are several rejections. Just send a private email.
